Welcome! I'm Dr. Jessica Addington and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. My interest is in working with teen girls and women who struggle with anxiety and a variety of life stressors. In my practice, I truly enjoy empowering women to work through their journey toward recognizing that their inner voice is worth listening to.

As a mom, a daughter, and a woman myself, I am passionate about the work that I do to encourage women to be kind to themselves. We live in a world where young girls, moms, and women are held to impossible expectations-- taking on the world, yet not taking care of themselves. Here is where I appreciate you, right-here-and-now, for making this choice to place yourself as a priority in your own world.
My Approach To Therapy
Through working together, we make space and time for experiencing self-compassion and loving-kindness. No matter where you are on your journey, we work together to appreciate who you are and where you came from. We explore your inner beliefs, the messages you tell yourself, and the thoughts you find yourself stuck on. We reflect on patterns in your relationships that often perpetuate feelings of anxiety, sadness, shame, frustration, and distress.
My style of therapy is warm, collaborative, open, and engaging. Although we may face vulnerability and discomfort, I find that at times a sense of humor helps us to relax and breathe. While we work together in this therapeutic relationship, I encourage you to be an active participant. I am here to meet you at this very place you’re at in your life— with guidance, support, and encouragement to foster self-discovery and personal growth.
